Communications with PMO led me to believe JV signing would take place, says former 1MDB CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: Former 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) chief executive officer Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi told the High Court that he believed fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho's information about the proposed USD2.5bil (RM10.06bil) joint venture signing ceremony between the company and PetroSaudi International Ltd, as there had been early communication with the Prime Minister's Office in 2009.
