Chris Bryant calls for ‘cull of ministers’

During topical questions to the cabinet minister Steve Barclay, Labour’s Chris Bryant called for a “cull of ministers”.Bryant described the government as “bloated”, with “more government ministers than France, Germany and Italy out together”.He asked, “if we are going to havee a cull of civil servants, isn’t it time that at least a quarter of the frontbench go”.
