CEC Kargil Negotiates Historic Settlement, Ending Long-Running Youljuk-Khows River Dispute - Scoop News Jammu Kashmir

Kargil,October 29 (Scoop News)-Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today successfully resolved the long-pending dispute between the villages of Youljuk and Khows in the Suru region. An official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between representatives of both villages, outlining that the crade construction work along the Suru River will be carried out simultaneously and equally on both sides of the river.
