Cash Outside Banks Declines to N4.8tn, Now 89.2% of CIC

Cash outside Nigeria’s banking system fell for the second consecutive month in July to its lowest level in eight months, even as credit to the private sector continued to expand, pointing to a gradual shift in the composition of liquidity towards bank-intermediated activity.
