Atlanta psychedelic garage rocker Gringo Star is back with a new record called Sweethearts, a dreamy and sweet-sounding collection of songs that marks the band’s eighth full-length release. Gringo Star was formed in 2007 by brothers Nicholas and Peter Furgiuele, with their early releases receiving shouts from the likes of Pitchfork and Rolling Stone, and even a spot on NPR’s “All Songs Considered” in the fall of 2011.
