Boy, 7, nearly kidnapped in Nijkerk supermarket; police seek witnesses

The police are investigating a report of a woman trying to abduct a 7-year-old boy from a supermarket on Amperestraat in Nijkerk on Saturday. "We are investigating exactly what happened and are looking for witnesses", the police write on Facebook. The boy's parents also wrote about the incident on Facebook, warning other parents in the area to be careful, AD reports. The incident happened at a Lidl supermarket on Amperestraat between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
