Black Star restarts car tyre retreading under the Leonard name

In January 2022 Black Star started retreaded car tyre production at the former site of the Bridgestone Bethune factory in France. In mid-2025, the company celebrated its 500,000th tyre. But in February 2026, the operation entered “safeguarding procedure”. However, the latest news is that car tyre retreading in Bethune has been resurrected under the Leonard name.
