Beating China in the Race for AI Dominance

In 1996, as an attorney at the Department of Justice, I prosecuted the Johnny Chung case, which uncovered that China was funneling money into the campaign coffers of the DNC. They wanted to influence our presidential election in favor of Bill Clinton because they believed his administration would give them greater access to sensitive U.S. technology. China wanted our technology back then, and they still want it today.
