Barbados urged to maintain vigilance against animal, foodborne diseases

Barbados must maintain strong surveillance, testing and biosecurity systems to protect food security and public health from animal and foodborne diseases that can spread across borders, Chief Veterinary Officer Dr Mark Trotman has warned.
