Bangladesh: ICT denies three journalists bail for 2024 uprising coverage / IFJ

Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) denied journalists Shyamal Dutta, Mozammel Babu, and Farzana Rupa bail for their coverage of the country’s July 2024 uprising on August 24. The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and its affiliate, the Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF), call on the authorities to immediately drop all charges against the three journalists.
