Baltic parliamentarians focus on cooperation regarding cancer treatment and prevention in the region

On 9-10 June, the meeting of the Health, Welfare and Family Committee took place in Tallinn. The Baltic parliamentarians discussed the cooperation of the Baltic States in health care, focusing on cancer treatment, and joint projects and procurements. President of the Baltic Assembly Jānis Vucāns highlighted that today’s meeting is the last Committee meeting of the Baltic Assembly in 2022; however, the work of the Baltic Assembly continues as the parliamentarians prepare for the Session of the Baltic Assembly to be held on 27-28 October in Riga, Latvia.
