Bahrain, Kuwait Welcome UN Security Council Statement Condemning Houthi Attacks Against Saudi Arabia

Kuwait welcomed the statement issued by the members of the UN Security Council, which condemned the missile attacks launched by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia since July 13, and the attacks against commercial vessels since July 22. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s full appreciation for the statement’s emphasis on the need to uphold international law and relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216.
