Back-to-school program helps local families manage rising supply costs

The Father Fred Foundation will host its annual Back-to-School Shoe Program to assist Traverse City families facing rising educational costs. Through partnerships with local businesses and charities, the initiative provides students with brand-name shoes, socks, school supplies, and vision services. Events are scheduled to take place at Mancelona Elementary School on August 7th, followed by sessions at the foundation's headquarters from August 11th through August 14th.
