Austria to make wearing face masks compulsory in supermarkets

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz on Monday said that the country will require shoppers to wear basic face masks in supermarkets in a bid to slow the spread of coronavirus. These masks, which are handed out in front of supermarkets, would stop the wearer from sneezing or coughing on others and potentially infecting them, Kurz added.
