August is designated as Tree Check Month to identify Asian longhorned beetles

Michigan’s Invasive Species Program and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service are asking the public to check trees for signs of the destructive Asian longhorned beetle this month.
