Assam STF Arrested Two Men Near The Indo-Bhutan Border With 4 kg Of Elephant Ivory Allegedly Worth ₹6 Lakh

Assam STF arrested two men in Tamulpur near the Indo-Bhutan border for allegedly attempting to sell elephant ivory. Officers recovered two tusks weighing 4 kg in total. The suspects allegedly planned to sell the ivory for around ₹6 lakh. Both men and the seized tusks were handed over to the Forest Department for further investigation into the wildlife trafficking network.
