WALDOBORO — Arnold W. "Bill" Achorn, 93, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on August 1, 2026. Born on October 11, 1932, in Waldoboro, Bill was the son of Wallace Achorn and Sarah May (Porter) Achorn. A lifelong resident of the community he cherished; Bill attended the Feylers Corner School through the eighth grade before graduating from Waldoboro High School with the Class of 1950. Just recently, he enjoyed reconnecting with classmates as he attended his 76th class reunion, a milestone that brought him great joy.
