Amsterdam trains pelted with fireworks

Someone pelted trains in Amsterdam with fireworks on Sunday night. One train was hit and gave the driver such a fright that he could not complete his journey, ProRail said on Twitter. The rail manager called this a "completely idiotic action" which could have put the lives of the passengers and driver in danger. "The driver watches over the safety of the passengers. If he is so startled that he misses a signal, it can cause accidents", a ProRail spokesperson said to NOS.
