AI-generated ‘perfect’ essays expose gaps in Vietnamese students’ critical thinking

New findings from the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2025 showed that while 94 percent of Vietnamese students used artificial intelligence (AI) to support their learning, only around 70 percent were taught how to evaluate AI-generated content, raising a fundamental question about students’ ability to distinguish reliable information and their thinking skills.
