Afghanistan-Pakistan peace talks collapse, ceasefire continues, Taliban says

Peace talks between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban have concluded without any agreement. The discussions aimed to address cross-border terrorism but ended in a deadlock. Pakistan sought written assurances from Kabul regarding actions against Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan militants. Mediators from Turkiye and Qatar were involved. Pakistan stated its position remains firm on ensuring Afghan soil is not used for attacks.
