A long commute? Nearly 40% of Dutch live, work in same town

The Dutch live close to their work, new figures by the national statistics office CBS published on Thursday reveal. The agency said nearly four out of every 10 employees worked in the same community as they lived, with an average commute of 22.6 kilometres.
