A 29-year-old Paterson man was fatally shot on Friday morning near 12th Avenue and East 16th Street, police said. Police responded to the area at about 7:30 a.m., after receiving a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found the man lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.
