10 Convicted of Terrorism-Related Crimes Executed in Eastern Libya

Authorities in eastern Libya have carried out execution sentences by firing squad against 10 individuals convicted of “terrorist crimes” and assassinations targeting military personnel and civilians. In a statement issued Sunday, the Office of the Military Prosecutor General of the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA) said the executions were carried out pursuant to rulings by the Supreme Military Court following deliberations that lasted several years.
